INOV Researcher Appointed Secretary of State for Modernization and Digitalization in the XXIV Constitutional Government of the Portuguese Republic

The 41 new Secretaries of State for the XXIV Portuguese Constitutional Government have been announced. Alberto Rodrigues Silva, full professor at the Instituto Superior Técnico and former associate researcher at INOV – INESC Inovação and INESC-ID, has been appointed Secretary of State for Modernization and Digitalization, as part of the Ministry of Youth and Modernization.

This appointment follows the recognition of Professor Alberto Rodrigues Silva’s work and path of excellence in the area of innovation and technology. As a researcher at INOV, Professor Alberto has been a leading figure in the development of advanced solutions to contemporary challenges related to the modernization and digitalization of the country.
