INOV and VoiceInteraction hosted the second plenary meeting of the LINGUARISE-DC project in Lisbon. European consortium partners gathered around a working agenda that included a review of activities carried out to date and the preparation of the action plan for the next semester.

Funded by the European Defence Fund, the LINGUARISE-DC project applies state-of-the-art Human Language Technologies (HLT) to enhance communication, information gathering, and ad hoc cooperation in missions conducted by the European Union. Its modular and scalable platform is designed to strengthen multilingual interoperability and operational effectiveness in demanding multinational scenarios.

Bringing together 14 partners from nine countries, the LINGUARISE-DC consortium combines outstanding expertise from the industrial, academic, and defence domains, with the goal of developing an innovative linguistic capability to support European security and defence operations.

The plenary meeting marked an important milestone in aligning technical progress with the project’s strategic objectives, reinforcing its contribution to European technological sovereignty through linguistic innovation.

INOV reaffirms its commitment to technological development in the defence sector and extends its appreciation to all partners for their presence, engagement, and collaboration.
