The launch meeting of the MED Food TTHubs project took place remotely, on the 4th and 5th May, with the 10 partners that make up the consortium. MED Food TTHubs focuses on offering Mediterranean food products in a safe and sustainable way by supporting transparency in the traceability and authenticity of products.
The project aims to implement reliable standardised approaches, along with cutting-edge technologies, to support the implementation of full-path tracing practices across the entire distribution channel. The objective will be achieved through the establishment and operation of seven Trace and Trust Hubs, which will form a permanent transnational network, a one-stop shop for traceability and authenticity of MED food products in each of the following countries: Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan.
