The Project

The GuestIC Project No. ALG-01-0247-FEDER-047399 promoted in consortium by DENGUN and UNIVERSIDADE DO ALGARVE, aims to investigate new knowledge that will be applied in new solutions supported by Blockchain technology that will allow the collection and use of customer information of Health Tourism and Wellness (TSBE), safely and generating consumer confidence.

These new solutions will allow hospitality and tourism companies to increase the knowledge capital about their customers (tourists), allowing them to adapt the offer of services and experiences, and thus meet the strategic business objectives and contribute to the sustained development of the tourist destination as a whole.

The project responds to a need identified in the market, manifested by the desire of hotel and tourism operators to have access to a tool that helps them develop and operationalize integrated strategies to create new offerings targeted at customers in the TSBE segment.

Objectives

1. Create an information system (Saas Platform) that allows Health and Wellness Tourism operators to collect and process information in a secure and reliable way and transform it into knowledge, until the end of the first quarter of 2023.

2. To make available in the market a Saas platform that allows TSBE managers to manage the knowledge acquired about their customers in order to provide customized offers.

3. License the use of the new platform openly in the national and international market, targeting commercial activity in particular to hotel chains with strong global presence.
