Information on electromagnetic radiation in mobile communications

 

Objective

FAQtos project, developed by INOV and Instituto Superior Técnico, aims to make publicly available relevant information on electromagnetic radiation in mobile communications:

  • Concepts related to electromagnetic waves, known exposure limits, bibliography, relevant references, etc.

  • Results of measurements carried out by the project team in Base Station antennas in public places chosen across the country.

  • Lectures and public information actions, in order to raise citizens’ awareness. These are done mainly in health units and educational establishments, or in collaboration with municipalities.
